If you are interested in psychotherapy please get in touch to arrange an initial appointment to discuss. If you don’t get through to me immediately, leave a message and you will normally get a response within 24 hours.
You would have the choice of a consultation session in the N19 or N16 practices, subject to availability.
Meeting will provide an opportunity to get further information and to think about whether psychoanalytic psychotherapy is for you. It is important that we feel comfortable to work together, so an initial meeting gives you an opportunity to assess that and to ask any questions you may have. Usually a further consultation session of this type is useful.
If we agree that psychotherapy might be useful we will arrange a regular time to meet. Sessions last for 50 minutes. The frequency and timings of sessions will be something for us to discuss and agree at the outset. Session times are then fixed and not changed on a week to week basis as a rule.
Psychoanalytic therapy can take time, but outcomes can be correspondingly significant and enduring. I offer session frequency ranging from once to three times weekly.
